Cette
serre, découverte par hasard dans un de nos hobby-shops
habituels, est d'une laideur épouvantable dans son état
d'origine comme en témoigne la première photo. Par
contre, son prix est, quant à lui très intéressant:
si vous payez plus de $ 2.00 pour ce modèle, vous vous
êtes fait avoir!
J'ai
commencé par repeindre la base en béton avec du
Floquil "Foundation" et le vert quasi fluo, sensé
représenter les fleurs, avec du Humbrol # 29. Le bac a
été peint, quant à lui, avec du Humbrol #
27.
Les
armatures de la serre ont été peintes avec du Humbrol
# 56 après un patient masquage ayant donné du plaisir
durant quelques heures ...
Les
boîtes à fleurs ont été ensuite enduites
de colle blanche et saupoudrées de Woodland
Scenics Medium Green Coarse Turf. Une fois le tout séché,
à l'aide d'une pipette, de la colle Woodland Scenics Cement
est appliquée dans la verdure. Des variétés
de fleurs provenant d'ensembles Scenic
Express Spring Flowers Assortment et Woodland
Scenics Flowers T48 ont été saupoudrées
dans les différents bacs suivant les recommandations de
Louise.
Le
sol est recouvert de Woodland
Scenics Soil Fine Turf et appliqué de la manière
habituelle avec de "l'eau mouillée" et de la
colle Woodland Scenics Cement.
Voici
donc un petit bâtiment très bon marché qui
a été amélioré pour donner un résultat
assez convaincant.
This
greenhouse was discovered by accident at one of our favorite hobbyshops.
As you can see on the first picture, it is horrifically ugly in
its original state, but its price is very low: if you pay more
than $ 2.00 for it, you have been trapped!
I
have started by painting the concrete basement with Floquil "Foundation"
and the almost fluorescent green, which is supposed to represent
flowers, with Humbrol # 29. The thing that seems to be a locker
was painted with Humbrol # 27.
The
greenhouse structure was painted with Humbrol # 56 after a really
"pleasant" job of masking that gave joy for some hours
...
The
flower boxes were then coated with white glue and sprinkled with
Woodland
Scenics Medium Green Coarse Turf.
Once everything dry, Woodland Scenics Cement was applied with
an eye-droper. Different kinds of flowers from Scenic
Express Spring Flowers Assortment and
Woodland
Scenics Flowers T48 assortments
were sprinkled onto the boxes according to Louise'r recommendations.
The
ground was covered by Woodland
Scenics Soil Fine Turf and
set into place with "wet water" and Woodland Scenics
Cement technique.
So,
this is a very cheap structure, which was improved to give a relatively
convincing aspect.
